Grabbing brunch as a family is a classic way to celebrate Mother’s Day, and for good reason. You get to spend quality time together, it’s a great time of day to dine out on a weekend, it’s usually kid friendly and typically pretty affordable if you’re treating. There are so many fabulous places to enjoy brunch in Edmonton. Some of our favourites include:
PIP
PIP is a fabulous Edmonton restaurant that serves brunch daily from 9am to 3pm! With a great menu featuring memorable dishes like their Short Rib Benny and delightful Mushroom Toast, you really can’t go wrong here. Best of all, all of their brunch items are under $20!
Sugarbowl
Known for its incredible cinnamon buns, Sugarbowl is a fantastic brunch spot in Edmonton. They serve breakfast, lunch and dinner daily and their food is to die for. From chicken and waffles to vegan sausage and tofu scramble, there’s something for everyone here!
Canteen
If your mom is a foodie, treat her to weekend brunch at Canteen. This fine dining establishment offers interesting menu items like their Shrimp Toast Benny which features poached eggs, Thai Hollandaise sauce and hash browns. She can wash down her excellent meal with a Mimosa or a Rose Lemonade.
Send her flowers
It’s not always possible to celebrate Mother’s Day together. If you can’t gather this time around, and Mom loves flowers, why not send her a beautiful bouquet this Mother’s Day? There are a ton of amazing florists in Edmonton. Some of our favourites include Zocalo, Awesome Blossom and Petals for Less.
Buy her chocolates
If Mom has a sweet tooth, why not gift her some gourmet chocolates made fresh in Edmonton? There’s no shortage of fabulous chocolatiers in this city. Our favourite shop in town is Sweet Lollapalooza which was named one of the top 10 chocolatiers in North America! For those with allergies and sensitivities, we love Natural Kitchen Delights as they make simply beautiful chocolates and can make their chocolates dairy free and gluten free on request.
